Help protect, evacuate, and resettle US-affiliated and at-risk Afghan Allies who stood against the Taliban.

Update as of January 2024

EVAC continues to support at-risk Afghan Allies that are being hunted by the Taliban and have divided our efforts into 2 pathways.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 by the end of the year!

1 - The U.S. Pathway is for Afghans that have qualified for U.S. visa programs. They are either in hiding in Afghanistan or waiting in Pakistan as their cases go through the approval process. We continually need financial partners to provide essentials while these families move closer to freedom in the U.S.: food, heat, medical, and travel documentation.

8 Families Remaining: 19 Adults, 18 Children

2 - The Brazil Pathway is for Afghans who do not qualify for U.S. programs. These families were fully funded in 2023, but on account of delays with the Brazil government, additional financial partners are needed to sustain them while they wait for their Embassy interviews, which will occur by April 2024, and eventual flights to safety in Brazil.

5 Families Remaining: 20 Adults, 12 Children

The Taliban is hunting Afghans who supported democracy and the US during our 20 years there: interpreters, engineers, aid workers, women’s rights advocates. Since August 2021, EVAC has been coordinating the protection, evacuation, and resettlement of at-risk Afghan Allies who have been left behind and are now being hunted by the Taliban. They need our help.

Our Mission

We currently have over 350 Afghan adults and children under our care. Every Afghan Ally has a unique story and a unique set of needs. Their commonality is that all of them are under imminent threat from the Taliban. In most cases, the Taliban know their names, former addresses, are actively hunting them.

Afghans We’re Helping

Hundreds of small and large victories contribute to a successful mission: gathering intel, keeping families fed, providing medical care, establishing safe houses, acquiring digital security kits so our families can communicate with us, immigration and visa filings, getting families on evacuation flights, and providing refugee resettlement services.
