Help EVAC Finish the Mission
Against all odds, EVAC has helped over 300 at-risk Afghan Allies — translators, engineers, and aid workers who honorably served the U.S. military and were hunted by the Taliban for it.
It took 4 years of effort, coordination, and courage. Sadly, we couldn’t get everyone out.
7 of our families — 34 men, women, and children — are still trapped.
Some were blocked by politics. Others were EVAC’s on-the-ground team— risking their lives to help others escape, knowing they might never get to leave.
Meet Family #1:
Abas and his fiancée. Abas is an EVAC team member responsible for handling all of EVAC’s money in Pakistan and helping each of EVAC’s families get from Pakistan to safety in Brazil. Abas was a Pilot in the Afghan Air Force and, when the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August of 2021, fled for his life to Pakistan, where he has been living and helping his fellow Afghans. Due to his position in the Afghan Air Force, he cannot return to Afghanistan, so we are raising funds for him and his fiancé to start new lives in Brazil: $20,000. Abas has never once asked EVAC for help - and yet has helped so many other families. We want to help him and his fiancé begin a new life in Brazil.
Meet Families #2-#8:
34 people who are all still in Afghanistan. We can’t evacuate them, and it is very likely they will never make it to the US. But we can help them survive and potentially become self-sustaining.
We’re raising $32,400 for these 6 families — enough to provide food, rent, and medical care for all 34 people for 1 year. Just $2700 per month. From this $32,400, EVAC plans to give each family 1 year of support up-front so they can use it as seed money (examples: to have their safer relative open a shop, to buy cows to live off of, etc.)
Family #2: Ahmad Nasher (family of 5)
U.S. Military Translator. Despite endorsement from U.S. Senators, visa to US was denied and he applied again and is waiting to hear from the US. Taliban still hunting him.
Family #3: Elyas (family of 3)
U.S. Air Force Interpreter. Denied visa due to unfair bureaucracy. Taliban has a bounty on his life.
Family #4: Abdul Mutalib (family of 4)
NATO English Teacher. Still waiting to hear from the USA about visa. His brother was kidnapped (and since released) by Taliban to try to find his whereabouts.
Family #5: Ruben (family of 4)
Built U.S. bases. Threatened by Taliban and ISIS-K. Visa also denied.
Family #6 and Family #7: Hamid & Elham (2 families, 14 people)
EVAC team members. For over 4 years, they put their lives at risk and delivered food, medicine, and support to our families in hiding in Afghanistan. They helped hundreds escape — knowing they likely never would.
Help us finish the mission. The above 7 families are U.S. Allies and our teammates. They showed up for others. Now we can show up for them.

As you see in the below screenshots of messages sent by Ahmad Nasher and Abdul Mutalib to EVAC, these 34 people have no other means of humanitarian aid - we are it. Help us finish the mission well.
